Our government would never issue false information designed to convey an imminent threat simply to get legislation passed to further erode civil liberties. Totally unthinkable.
Obligatory StB Protection: Please demonstrate where and when the alleged incident(s) from the first link above happened. The point is they are claiming something has already happened, which could lead to the type of breathless propaganda in the press that paves the way to allowing what O'Connell is claiming necessary in the second. Level of difficulty: War Games was not a terrorist incident, but a fictional movie. Discuss.
