Interesting, Which Vote The GOP Chose To Walk Out On...

Following an angry partisan debate and a dramatic walkout by Republicans, the House on Thursday approved motions to begin criminal and civil contempt proceedings against White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former White House Counsel Harriett Miers for failing to comply with subpoenas issued by the House Judiciary Committee.
The vote was 223-32 and came after House Republicans – yelling “Work, work, work” – marched out of the chamber en masse to protest the fact that the Democrats were focused on the contempt issue rather than on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act legislation the Senate passed earlier in the week.
According to today's House schedule, the time "wasted" on the Bolten/Miers contempt of Congress resolution was (generously) about 43 minutes.
Minutes, you say, that could have been spent on FISA!
Well, what did our brave and noble GOP congressmen do between 2:23PM EST (when the contempt citation was passed by a 223-32-1 margin), and the 6:09PM motion to adjourn?
2:43PM - 174 GOP votes cast in favor of honoring African-American inventors.
2:52PM - 188 GOP votes cast (139 for, 49 against) for something called the "National Ocean Exploration Program Act."
2:59PM - 190 GOP votes cast in favor of making technical corrections to the "Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act"
3:08PM - 191 GOP votes cast in favor of honoring and praising the NAACP on its 99th anniversary (they speak so well! they're so well spoken!)
3:43PM - 190 GOP votes cast in favor authorizing the placement in Arlington National Cemetery of an American Braille tactile flag honoring blind members of the Armed Forces, veterans, and other Americans.
3:50PM - 178 GOP votes cast in favor of commending the people of Washington state for taking care of their veterans.
3:56PM - 179 GOP votes cast in favor of supporting the goals and ideals of "National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Week."
4:03PM - 184 GOP votes cast in favor of supporting the goals and ideals of "American Heart Month and National Wear Red Day."
(tick tock, tick tock)
6:09PM - Motion to adjourn accepted.
Priorities!
